WHAT DO I DO WHEN MY CHATMAN J CAKES ARRIVES?
All of Chatman J’s baked goods are shipped frozen. When yours arrives, remove it from the shipping box and follow any of the options listed on the care instructions card in the box. Chatman J’s baked goods can be thawed in the refrigerator overnight or on your kitchen counter for three hours. Remove the wrapping while it is still frozen and cover lightly with plastic wrap or wax paper. Chatman j’s baked goods are best served at room temperature although the sweet potato cheese cake is best thawed in the refrigerator over-night and served chilled.
If you prefer, pies can be warmed. Pies are intentionally baked so they can be served warmed at 225 for up to 20 minutes for maximum taste.
Chatman J’s baked goods are made with the freshest, natural ingredients and are at their best when stored in the refrigerator and eaten within a week. If you prefer to keep yours frozen, place it in the freezer when it arrives. It will stay fresh for a month. BACK TO TOP

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Chatman J Cakes ships to the contiguous United States. We currently do not ship internationally or to Hawaii or Alaska. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses. BACK TO TOP

All our pastries are baked fresh to your order. Please allow 3 days to process your order plus 1-2 days for shipping depending on your location. BACK TO TOP
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We can ship FedEx or UPS and we ship Monday through Wednesday. Cakes can be shipped Thursday if the cake can arrive the next day. We do not ship or deliver on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. BACK TO TOP

We provide flat rate shipping and you can select your option. For special shipping requests, contact a customer service representative. BACK TO TOP
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
We will confirm your order by email and email you a tracking number when you order is shipped.
There is no signature required for delivery. Please be aware that it is solely at the discretion of the driver where the package is left outside the recipient’s address. We expect the recipient to pick up the package when it is delivered. We are not responsible for packages left unattended. BACK TO TOP

REFUND POLICY
All our goods are perishable, we cannot give refunds for the wrong address, shipping a cake to someone who is out of town, weather delays and acts of God, and not following care instructions. A shipment damaged in transit will be refunded. BACK TO TOP
FOOD ALLERGIES
If you have any food allergies, please check the lists of ingredients before you order. Some of our pastries are baked with nuts. Be aware although Chatman J pastries are prepared according to strict food handling standards, they are baked in a facility where nuts are used. BACK TO TOP
